Scenic Bhutan

Day 01 :: Delhi
Assistance at arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Lunch and half day tour of Old Delhi, visiting Rajghat, Red fort and Jama Masjid.

Day 02 :: Delhi-Paro
Flight to Paro. Check-in at the hotel. Visit Taktsang Monastery, Drugyal Dzong and the Ta Dzong National Museum (which has a collection of ancient Bhutanese arts and artifacts, weapons and stamps).

Day 03 :: Paro-Thimpu
Departure for Thimpu. Check-in and lunch at the hotel. Visit Tashichho Dzong, Handicrafts emporium and National Library.

Day 04 :: Thimpu-Punakha
Leave for Punakha. En route visit the Dochula Pass for a spectacular view of the mighty Himalayan range separating Tibet and Bhutan. Overnight stay at Punakha.

Day 05 :: Punakha-Wangdiphodrang-Punakha
Spend the day exploring Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan. Leave for an excursion to Wangdiphodrang, which is on top of a hill overlooking the junction of two rivers and has rich pasturelands for cattle. It is also famous for its fine bamboo work, slate and stone carvings and the Yak dairy research station. Return to Punakha for the night.

Day 06 :: Punakha - Paro
Departure for Paro via Thimpu to board flight to Delhi. Check-in and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07 :: Delhi
Breakfast followed by half-day tour of New Delhi, visiting Qutub Minar, Humayun's India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan(President House) and Parliament House. Freshen up at the hotel before proceeding to the international Airport for onward journey.
